The Rizarios Centre of Exhibitions and Conventions aspires to become a cultural hub with international range, through the events hosted there.

Despite the fact that in recent years a number of exhibitions and cultural events have been successfully held at the Centre, both access and number of visitors were limited to those physically present at the site. The purpose of this application is to create a virtual – digital exhibition centre in which can be displayed, not only the unique exhibitions organised at regular intervals of time but also those created exclusively as digital pieces of display.

This digital photography exhibition showcases work by the photographer Fred Boissonnas (1858-1956), lover and admirer of Greek culture, of particular historical and artistic interest. In “Images of Greece”, magical moments of a reborn land are captured through the lens, in complete harmony with Greek light, beauty and memory. The digital exhibits are accompanied by texts representative of their creator’s thought, where some of them work as a bridge to relative digital applications.

The virtual exhibition centre was graphically structured based on the Pantazi Mansion, following the traditional Zagorian architecture.
