OUR INSTITUTION
The Institute of the Rizarios Ecclesiastical School (Rizarios Foundation) was founded in 1841 by the Brothers Manthos and George Rizaris and today is one of the largest active National Legacies of Greece.
Its founders originated from Monodendri and emigrated to Russia at and early age. The brothers created there a colossal fortune from trade business which they granted entirely to the Greek nation for the reconstruction of it, soon after the establishment of the independent Greek state.
